So within the past month a million things have happened. I've tried to be the responsible blogger and photograph key moments. I think I'm learning. I will begin with my departure from Spokane.
Doesn't sound exciting right? Ha! There was a tremendous snow storm that left Spokane in a mess. Gonzaga CLOSED FOR FINALS because it was too dangerous (but of course, with my luck, my finals were already over). Everything was closed. It snowed 20 inches in one day, shattering the record of 13 before.
Here is what it looked like outside my apt- the walkway, my car in the parking lot, and the house across the street:

Even with these horrible weather conditions I finally made it to Bakersfield for Christmas! It was an absolute blast. Cale, Ash, and fam came too. Drew and Dane are so cute most of my pictures are naturally of them. Allie and Aud would love Drew's cheeks!

My zoom was on and Dane fitting his football in his helmet with him.

The cutest kids in the world!

Christmas was grreeaat. Then I went to Seattle to visit Mr. Joseph, who just turned 24. We had an absolutely fabulous time! Especially when we went out to eat at a cool Thai place. Jai Thai. It was my first time going to a Thai restaurant and I am hooked. We sat on the floor in the front windows and ordered a ton of food. Our favorite pastime is overeating. Here is the beginning to our awesome dinner.

And now I am back in Spokane. I just started working again and will start my LAST semester next week. My life will be a lot less eventful because of this. Oh, except for the awkward and outrageous events that keep happening to me here. Namely... a man was shoveling out his car from all the snow. I was walking on the sidewalk. The whole time he was throwing the snow from his shovel out into the street UNTIL I started passing him. I'm minding my own business when all of a sudden a shovel's worth of snow hits me and covers me. Not very cool. But even worse, I was walking home from the grocery store yesterday, again, on the sidewalk. It is extremely icy on the sidewalks so I was being very careful. I was crossing a side street when some JERK swerved toward me and purposefully (I can only assume) splashed into a HUGE puddle that completely soaked me. No other car made a splash. But, literally through my grocery bags all over my groceries, through my purse (my cell phone was dripping wet), etc. Here is a picture of my pants for proof. I don't do this often, but I wish BADDDDDD karma on this person.

Anyway, it provides me events to report about. I guess I can't complain.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY AVID LITTLE BLOGGERS!

Laughing out loud about the snow being thrown on you/car splashing you! Sorry, but the pictures of it in my head are kind of funny...that would only happen to you. We had so much fun with you and miss you. Hope to see you again soon.
