An Update!

To my avid blog readers:

I am in the middle of volleyball season. My last one! We are 6-9. It's been a difficult season so far. Hopefully the rest of the season smooths out a little bit. We have had this weekend off and I am a little excited to not have volleyball on the weekends and become a normal student/ human being for the first time.... ever.

Speaking of normal beings, I had an interesting run in this weekend. So, Joey is really into music. Duh. He likes going to watch bands, and I have started to really enjoy going with him. There was this band that was played at Gonzaga the last four years, Seaweed Jack. I thought they were awful but two of the musicians from that group graduated and went on to join a band called Hockey. MUCH BETTER. In fact, I like Hockey. I would explain their music but I have no idea. It makes you want to dance though. So, Hockey came to Spokane on Friday and we went to watch them. There were probably like 25 people there. It was a good show and everyone had a good time dancing. This one man in front of us seemed to be really enjoying the music. All of the sudden we noticed the man had A KITTEN WITH HIM. Yes, in this music dungeon place, the man had brought a baby kitty in. He danced with his kitty and pet him creepily the whole night. He held him up in the air and turned in circles, etc. IT WAS SO WEIRD. Joey was not as creeped out as I, and I was afraid the poor kitty would get shaken baby syndrome. But, regardless, the band was good. They just signed a deal with Entourage, the HBO show, to have one of their songs on there. And they are starting to be played on the radio in California. So, if you hear them, listen up. And please, don't take your animals to concerts.
